Great Serpent Shrine Location

The Serpent's Jaws is a Shrine quest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a quest given to Link by Kass at the Pagos Woods. Kass tells Link the following riddle: 'Where the forest dragon splays its jaws, A shrine sleeps with noble cause.' Just northeast of Kass' location, a river can be viewed ending in what looks like a serpent's open mouth, with a few little teeth. This leads to the Great Serpent Shrine and Sculptor's Idol, which is housed just above the entrance to the valley itself. Undershrine Valley. Tengu of Ashina is an NPC in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. He’s a large fellow, and you can find him after you defeat the first boss. He’ll be waiting inside the Ashina Castle Gate Fortress, the big building near the Sculptor’s Idol. After you talk to him, he’ll ask you to help him hunt down some rats. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about Sekiro rat hunting quest, including rat locations.

Rats locations

If you choose to accept the quest, the Tengu will give you a description of the rats. It’s a key item, so you can always reference it later if need be. According to it, the rats are short in stature and they wear bamboo hats. They’re assassins from the Senpou Temple, and they’ve been seen skulking around Ashina Castle Gate. You might have noticed one (that isn’t part of the quest) in the opening sequence: the tiny, wrinkled creature under the bridge.

The first one you’ll find will be on the cliff next to the Ashina Castle Gate Fortress idol. He’s behind the big rock, next to the tree, so you might not spot him if you don’t go there specifically. He’s a nasty little piece of work. He’ll try to poison you, so be ready to dodge at a moment’s notice.

There are reports that certain paths you’ve chosen during the game will take away the ability to get into the Fountainhead Palace, which is the last place you’ll need to go for this achievement. I’d recommend killing your father and pledging loyalty to Kuro to make this happen.

Here are all the locations you should have. You should find all of these naturally through progression, but if you’re struggling with something in particular, I’ll be happy to help you out. Otherwise, you can wait until I release the full walkthrough guide adjacent to this one.

It’s also worth noting that you don’t need the idols specifically. Truthfully, you may not even need to visit every single sub-location. But just to have a comprehensive list in the guide, I guess.
